The Sound of Revolution: Voices that Built a Nation

The Town of Lee is proud to announce it has been awarded a second‑year grant from Mass Humanities following its successful Museum on Main Street exhibition, Voices & Votes: Democracy in America, in 2025. This $5,000 grant will support The Sound of Revolution: Voices that Built a Nation, a new series of public programs exploring the ideas, debates, and voices that shaped American democracy—from the era of the American Revolution to the ongoing fight for civic participation. These programs invite the community to reflect on how everyday voices, past and present, have helped build the nation we know today.

This program is funded in part by Mass Humanities, which supports the humanities in Massachusetts through public grants using state and private funds.
