Our meetings are on the second Monday of the month at the former court room at the Lee Town Hall at 7 p.m.
The mission of the Lee Youth Commission is to advocate for groups providing recreational programming, designed or established, for the youth of Lee. In addition, the Lee Youth Commission may identify additional needs and make appropriate recommendations for future activities.

Free Skateboard Lessons
FREE ALL AGES SKATEBOARD LESSONS
Drop-in skateboard lessons every Monday in August--from 3:30-4:30 pm (weather permitting)--at the newly expanded Lee Skate Park, located at the Lee Athletic Field.
No registration is necessary, but a parent/guardian should be present to sign a waiver.
Limited sets of pads are available for loan.
Sponsored by the Lee Library and the Lee Youth Commission.

Family Fun Day at Lee Founders Weekend
Saturday, September 20, 2025
11:00 am to 3:30 pm
Lee Athletic Field (120 Housatonic Street in Lee)
The whole family is invited to come on down to the Lee Athletic Field after the Founders Day Parade. The Lee Youth Commission and the Lee Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a fun-filled day of free activities and entertainment, with support from a wide array of community partners.
Family Fun Day will feature performances by 413 Cheer, Gymnastics Unlimited, Bowey the Clown, and Terry A La Berry & Friends.
Free activities will include: Circus Skills Stations with Berkcirque; Balloon Animal Making; Face Painting; Ninja Agility Challenges with Neighborhood Ninjas; an Inflatable Obstacle Course from the Army National Reserves; a Bounce House; an Art Station with the Berkshire Art Center; a Sport Activity with Wildcat Sports Group; Hands-on Activities with the Berkshire Museum, Berkshire Music School, and Barrington Stage Company; Cotton Candy Being Spun; and Ice Cream Being Handed out by the Pittsfield PD's Copiscle Truck.
Additional food will be available for sale from the Lee Scouts.
The Lee Skate Park Competition will get under way at 1:30 pm.

Lee Skate Park Competition 2025
Lee's 3rd Annual Skate Park Competition will take place on Saturday, September 20 at 1:30 pm as part of Lee Founders Weekend's Family Fun Day.
This is a free event open to all ages and all skill levels. Everyone is invited, and will be eligible for prizes, from toddlers with training wheels to teens and adults doing tricks on the ramps and rails. The event is also open to all non-motorized wheels: Skateboards, scooters, roller skates, rollerblades, BMX/bikes, and even tricycles.
For the second year, there will be a Tech Deck style Fingerboard Contest.
Prizes genereously provided by: The Lee Youth Commission, No Comply Foods, AirTime Clothing, Berkshire Bike & Board, Bike Man's Affordable Repair, Robin's Candy, Triplex Cinema, The Gifted Child, Main St. Comics, High Lawn Farm, and Kiwanis Club of Lee.
No registration necessary, but a parent/guardian should be present to sign waivers.
