Our meetings are on the second Monday of the month at the former court room at the Lee Town Hall at 7 p.m.
The mission of the Lee Youth Commission is to advocate for groups providing recreational programming, designed or established, for the youth of Lee. In addition, the Lee Youth Commission may identify additional needs and make appropriate recommendations for future activities.

Art, Yoga & Mindfulness
Join Melanie Poppins in creative expression through art, music, and some simple yoga and movement (no experience necessary). Learn about emotion regulation and mindfulness skills and be in community. Caregivers encouraged to join! Geared to elementary school aged children who live in Lee or go to school in Lee, but the event is open to all!

Youth Cooking Workshops
Join the Lee Youth Commission for a hands-on, fun-filled cooking class designed especially for youth! In this interactive workshop, young chefs will learn how to prepare simple, healthy, and delicious meals using affordable ingredients. Workshops are geared to 4-6th graders and open to all (preregistration required).
Led by friendly food educators, kids will explore kitchen skills, basic nutrition, and the joy of cooking. Join one or both of the classes, lessons and recipes will be different!
Dates: Monday, October 27th and November 10th
Times: 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
Location: Community Room at the First Congregational Church, UCC, 25 Park Place, Lee, MA
Taught by: Nutritionist from the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

Lee Family Night at NightWood at the Mount

What to Expect at NightWood
NightWood is an outdoor sound and light experience set against the backdrop of The Mount.
The total route is approximately 1 mile through the woods and gardens and includes both paved and unpaved pathways, inclines, and stairs. Please use caution.
Dress for the weather! Trails may be muddy or icy at times, so winter boots are strongly recommended
It is appropriate for visitors of all ages. See below for information regarding accessibility.
The route is one way and there will be directional signs. Event staff will be stationed along the way to assist you.
No one will be allowed into the show after 7:45 pm.
Please no outside food or beverage.
Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
Upon arrival
Plan on arriving at your reservation time.
Park in the lot and check in at the Ticket Booth.
You do not need a physical ticket. Your reservation will be held under your name.
After checking in, staff will guide you to start of your NightWood experience.
Stroll with other families from Lee or on your own.
Free tickets are available to families who have children who live or go to school in Lee.
Within a week of registering, you will receive a confirmation email from a volunteer.
