Marriage Licenses/Intentions

To apply for a marriage intention BOTH PARTIES must appear in person at Town Hall.   Cost is $25 and the process takes about 20 minutes to complete.  Once intentions are completed there is a 3 day waiting period (including weekends) before the license is issued.  Marriage intentions are valid for 60 days and can be used in any town in Massachusetts.  Call (413)243-5505 or email Rachael.Armstrong@lee.ma.us to schedule and appointment. 

Weddings at Town Hall

Couples can be married in the town hall courtroom.  Advance appointment is required.  Cost for ceremony including Ordained Minister is $100 for regular business hours and $150 for outside business hour.  Call (413)243-5505 or email Rachael.Armstrong@lee.ma.us to schedule an appointment.
