About Us

The Town of Lee Fire Department is staffed by both full time and call firefighters. The full time personnel live at Fire Headquarters 24 hours a day. The call firefighters, or volunteers as they may be traditionally called, live and work among us but when the alarm rings they stop what they are doing and report for duty.

Lee Fire offers 24/7 Paramedic staffing on our ambulance. This insures the highest level of prehospital medical care to our residents and visitors.

The Department operates out of 3 buildings. Fire Headquarters is where the full time firefighters live and where the ambulance is stationed. It is also where the Fire Chief and Fire Inspectors work out of.

Central Fire Station is cross staffed by the call force working closely with the full time staff. Central, as it is commonly called, is the home to Engine 1, Engine 3, Engine 5 and Engine 7, often referred to as "the Odd Squad" Central Station also has Forest 6 and Forest 8 as well as the Fire Department boat.

Station 2, located in the South Lee village is the home to Engine 2 and Forest 4. This is staffed totally by call firefighters. Their slogan is "First due on Route 102" and they are know for their world famous chicken.
