Seeking Participants for the 2026 Lee Memorial Day Parade!
The Town of Lee is pleased to announce that planning for this year’s 2026 Memorial Day Parade is officially underway!
This year’s parade will take place on Monday, May 25th at 10:00 AM. The traditional 1‑mile route will begin near Joe’s Diner and proceed down Main Street and Housatonic Street, concluding at Fuller Street.
As we prepare for this cherished community tradition, the Town is actively seeking participants to help us honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. We welcome a wide range of entrants, including:
- Marching groups and community organizations
- School groups and youth organizations
- Veterans groups
- Marching bands, drumlines, and musical ensembles
- Classic and antique cars
- Local businesses with patriotic displays
- Scout troops
- Dance studios and performance groups
- Civic clubs and fraternal organizations
- Emergency vehicles and public safety departments
- Decorated floats
- Reenactment groups and honor guards
All entries are encouraged to display strong patriotic spirit in keeping with the solemn purpose of Memorial Day. Please note: groups with political messaging will not be permitted in the parade.
