Call for Student Artists: Design Lee’s 250th Anniversary Logo!

The Lee 250th Anniversary Committee is excited to invite local student artists to take part in a special Student Art Contest to celebrate a historic milestone—Lee’s 250th Anniversary, commemorated on October 21, 2027.

This is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and help shape how the Town of Lee celebrates this once-in-a-generation event. The winning design will become the official 250th anniversary logo and will be featured throughout all of 2027 in promotions, events, and materials.

Who Can Participate?

  • Students in grades 5–12
  • Students attending Lee Public Schools or St. Mary’s School

How to Enter

  • Participants are asked to:
    • Create an original, high-quality JPEG logo design
    • Include the year “1777” (Lee’s year of incorporation)
    • Submit the design along with: Name, School, Grade level
    • Send submissions to: [email protected]

Submission Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2026

How the Winner Will Be Chosen: The winning logo will be selected through a public Facebook vote, giving the community a chance to take part in choosing the design that represents Lee’s 250th anniversary.
