Lee Skate Park Competition

The Lee Youth Commission is excited to announce the first ever Lee Skate Park Competition as part of Lee Founders Day Weekend festivities.

The contest will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 at noon at the Lee Athletic Field located at 120 Housatonic Street. It is free and open to all for one minute runs on the skate park loop: All ages, all skill levels, and all wheels. That means bring your skateboards, scooters, bikes, roller skates, and roller blades.

The Lee Youth Commission is grateful for our generous co-sponsors who will be supplying prizes and helping with judging. Thank you to the Library Skate Shop, The Garden, Off of It Gallery, Airtime Clothing, and Berkshire Roller Girls.

There will be food, music, and giveaways at the event!

Additional youth activities in the park that day include a live performance from Terry A La Berry and Friends, Bowey The Magic Clown, free face painting, balloon animals, and craft activities.
