The Southern Berkshire Public Health Collaborative (SBPHC) is a partnership of Boards of Health within the towns of Alford, Great Barrington, Mount Washington, Monterey, New Marlborough, Otis, Sandisfield, Sheffield, Tyringham and the existing Tri-District towns of Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge.  

The SBPHC Mission is to leverage partnerships in order to provide quality public health services that directly improve the health and well-being of the entire community.

SBPHC was formed in 2021 as part of a Public Health Excellence grant issued through the DPH Local Regional Health office aimed at achieving equitable and quality public health services through shared services. The resulting partnership is aimed at improving public health in three main areas–Public Health Nursing, Inspectional Services, and Community Partnerships.
